Royce
Herron, Development Administrator for RTC, has been an arts
administrator for more than 17 years. During that time she has worked
for organizations as diverse as the Army Music and Theater Program in
Kaiserslautern, Germany, where she taught and directed children's
theater, and the State Arts Council of Oklahoma where she served as
grants coordinator, touring program director and public information
officer. For the past nine years, Herron has worked with small to
moderate-sized organizations in the Los Angeles area doing development
and program management. Her clients have included the Craft and Folk Art
Museum, the Friends of the Junior Arts Center, Actors Alley and Camp
Bravo.
She earned
her bachelor of arts degree in oral communication with honors from
Central Oklahoma State University (COSU). Herron attended on a full
theater scholarship and was awarded the Thornton Award for costume
design during her junior year.
Herron is
a professional actor with credits in theater, film and television. As a
member of Flights of Fantasy, Story Theater, Herron performs at schools
and libraries across greater Los Angeles.
